Your Tarot Year Card for 2024

So if you missed last week’s newsletter, here are the instructions for calculating your year card for 2024.

The best way to get insight on what your 2024 year card might bring is to look back on other years when you had the same year card. The year card cycles through in 9 year increments.

You had the same year card as 2024 in:

  • 2015
  • 2006
  • 1997
  • 1988
  • 1979
  • 1970

The only exception to this is you may have had a year card that reduces to your current year card or vice versa. A quick example will clear this up. Say your 2024 year card is 16 which corresponds to the Tower Card. A previous year card in the 9 year cycle could be a 7 (the Chariot) because 1 + 6 = 7. Or vice versa. Instead of a Tower year, you are having a Chariot year.

The way to check for this is to do the math:

month of birth + day of birth + year in question = sum

Take the sum and reduce to a number between 1 and 21 (The Tarot Major arcana has 21 cards).

Don’t stress over the calculations.

Were any of the years listed above memorable years for you? Were they pivotal in some way? Did you get married, move, give birth, start something, end something?

If nothing really stands out then maybe 2024 will be one of those filler years or something similar.

Looking back at the years listed, it seems that these years for me were years after a pivot. It was the pushing forward after the dust settled.

Can you find a thread that runs through the years for you?
