“Is he sleeping through the night?” you ask your friend about her 6 week old baby boy. “Not yet,” she replies. “You got time,” is your response.

How did you know that? How did you know that it wasn’t quite “time” for the baby to be sleeping through the night? Because he’s only 6 weeks old, and it could take 6 months or more before he does.

To everything there is a season. There is a season of babies crying in the middle of the night and a season of babies sleeping through the night. There are seasons of change, and then seasons of stillness. Our lives are a series of seasons: baby, teen, middle age, old age.

Western astrology is the science of cycles and seasons. Astrology is also quite complex. A much easier way to get a overview of the cycles and seasons of your life is through numerology. And numerology blends quite nicely with Tarot.

The Soul Number and the Year Number

There are a whole host of numerological calculations one can do. For our purposes, we will do two: the soul number and the year number.

To calculate your soul number: add the month, day, and year of your birth as single digits straight across. For example, if your birthday is January 5, 1987, add 1+5+1+9+8+7.
